In addition to our management team, Harmon Great craftsmanship starts with great people. Our in-house craftspeople take pride in the work they do, bringing hands-on expertise to key elements of every project and giving us greater control over quality, consistency, and execution from the ground up. Skilled in carpentry, demolition, concrete, interior trim, doors and hardware, millwork, and equipment operations, our team brings that knowledge directly to the jobsite.

Residential & Multifamily
Harmon residential building portfolio includes new construction, rehabilitation, family, senior living, and affordable housing. In addition, through our developer relationships; we build single-family/townhome for-sale and rental projects. Our firm has extensive experience in affordable housing whether it’s HUD 221 (d)(4), RAD, 4%, or 9% lending options.
Education
The K-12 system has an important place in Harmon Construction’s business
philosophy. The Harmon team has children of their own within the school
system in Charlotte, so developing a better education system for their
children and beyond, is something that will always be important to this company. HCS has done many renovations to schools around the Charlotte area, some of which you can find included in our Portfolio.
Commercial
Harmon Construction Services has experience in commercial work as well. We have worked on renovating and as well as building new offices and retail complexes, with a world class interior design. We hope to continue more commercial work around the Charlotte area in order to develop our community to the best of its’ abilities

Harmon Construction Services provides for the community. Our top priority is creating a safe, beautiful and fun place to live. Whether that is showing the history of the town, creating safe havens for community members or developing further buildings to create beauty around the city, HCS wants to be involved.
A Foundation Built on Purpose
Harmon Construction Services was founded by Ty Harmon in 2018 with a vision to help create stronger, more accessible communities through housing and construction. That vision was deeply personal. After witnessing his own mother pass away at 57 without ever owning a home, Ty understood firsthand the importance of safe, quality housing and the opportunity it can provide for individuals and families.
Rooted in Charlotte and shaped by a commitment to its communities, Harmon has grown to build not only housing, but education, commercial, and community spaces across North Carolina and South Carolina. Today, Ty’s vision continues to guide the company: creating places where people can live, learn, work, and thrive, while building a stronger foundation for generations to come.
